We want to show European and other international students and young people our national treasure – The Great Masurian Lake District. The Place:
Occupying an area of roughly 52,000 square kilometres, the Masurian Lake District in northeastern Poland was shaped by the Pleistocene ice age and contains more than 2,000 lakes. It is Most of nearly 1000 species of plants growing in the Masurian forests and meadows are unique and officially protected. Polish people have never been in any doubt about Mazuria being a national treasure. Last year the Masurian Lake District was chosen as one of the finalists in the New 7 Wonders of Nature contest.
Mazuria also offers great yachtsmen infrastructure. Sailing, windsurfing and kayaking enthusiasts make up the greater part of the hundreds of visitors who come here every year. Sailing is our passion and we believe that everything made with passion goes together with success. We are proud that our work is beneficial for sailing culture and expands the knowledge about Poland in other European countries.
